Settings
An organization-only settings menu that sits beside the app, with your personal account settings under your profile.
Overview
Settings sits beside the app's main menu — it doesn't take over the window. When you open Settings, your usual app navigation stays visible on the left, the settings menu appears as a second column next to it, and the screen you're viewing fills the space on the right.
There's no "Back to app" button: to leave Settings, simply click any item in the app's main menu.
Each screen has its own web address, so you can bookmark or share a direct link. The one exception: the previous combined Tasks page is now three separate screens, so an old link straight to it won't resolve — open Task types, Tags, or Custom fields instead.
The settings menu
The settings menu lists only organization settings — the things that apply to everyone in your organization. Only owners and admins can open it. The items are grouped into named sections so related settings sit together, and every item is its own screen with an address you can bookmark or share:
- Organization — General (your organization's name, URL, and logo), Members, and Teams.
- Billing — Subscription and Credits. This section appears when billing is enabled for your workspace.
- Tasks — Task types, Tags, and Custom fields. Each is now its own screen, not a sub-tab of one combined page.
- Developer — API Keys and Activity Log.
Selecting an item switches the panel on the right to that screen, and the item you're viewing stays highlighted so you always know where you are.
Members
Invite people, manage roles, and review pending invitations.
Teams
Group members and projects into teams.
Custom fields
Task types, tags, and custom fields — the building blocks of your tasks, each on its own screen.
Activity Log
A record of what changed in your organization and who changed it.
Your personal account settings live elsewhere. Profile, Security, and Sessions are reached from your account menu — your avatar at the bottom of the app — and are no longer mixed into the organization's settings menu. See API keys.
Reading a settings screen
Every screen follows the same shape, so once you've used one you know them all:
A title and one-line description sit at the top, telling you what the screen is for.
Sections are separated by thin lines, not boxes. Each section has its own heading and, where relevant, an action on the right — for example New team or New field.
Lists share one layout. In Members, Teams, and the Tasks lists, each row shows the item's name as the title with its count on the line just below (for example, how many tasks use a tag). Rename an item by clicking its name, or open the ⋯ menu at the end of the row for Rename, Delete, and any other actions.
Forms save only when something changed. The Save button stays disabled until you edit a value, so you can't submit an unchanged form by accident.
Destructive actions live in a "Danger zone" at the bottom of the screen, in red, and always ask you to confirm before anything is deleted.
When billing is enabled for your workspace, Subscription and Credits appear in the menu under Billing — no more hunting for a direct link. When billing is turned off, the section is hidden and those screens fall back to General.
