Gipo

Getting Started

Your first steps in Gipo — open your organization, get to know the board, create and move a task, and track your time.

Overview

This is the quickest path from opening Gipo to having work on the board and time on the clock. Each step links into the Platform guide, where every feature is covered in depth — this page is the starting point, not a replacement for it.

You'll usually arrive through an email invitation to an organization. Accept it, sign in, and you'll land straight on that organization's dashboard.

Your first steps

Open your organization. When you sign in, you land on your organization's dashboard — a snapshot of what's assigned to you, the time you've logged this week, and recent activity. If you belong to more than one organization, switch between them from the sidebar. See Dashboard and Navigation.

Get to know the board. Open a workspace to see its task board — a Kanban where each stage is a column and each task is a card. A fresh workspace starts with four stages: To do, In Progress, In Review, and Done. See Task Board.

Create and move a task. Add a task with the + in any column header, give it a subject, and fill in details like assignees, priority, and a due date. Drag the card to another column to change its stage — the change saves immediately. See Task Board.

Track your time. Start a timer from a card or an open task to log time as you work, or add an entry by hand if you forgot. Your weekly Timesheet rolls it all up and can export shareable reports. See Tracking time and Timesheet & Reports.
