How to move around the app — the icon sidebar on desktop and the slide-in menu on smaller screens.
Overview
Every screen in the app shares the same left-hand sidebar. It holds your organization switcher at the top, your main navigation in the middle, and your account menu at the bottom. How it looks depends on the size of your screen.
On desktop
On a desktop-width screen (roughly 1024px and wider) the sidebar is a slim, always-visible icon rail. Each destination is shown as an icon — there's no expand or collapse button, so the rail never gets in the way of your work.
To see what an icon means, hover over it: its label appears as a tooltip. This applies to everything on the rail, including the organization switcher and your account menu.
The rail stays fixed in place. There's nothing to drag, toggle, or resize — every screen keeps the same amount of room for your content.
On tablet and mobile
On narrower screens the rail is hidden so your content gets the full width. A menu button appears at the left of the top bar instead.
Select the menu button in the top bar. The full sidebar slides in from the left, this time with text labels next to each icon.
Choose where you want to go. The menu closes automatically as you navigate.
Or dismiss it by selecting anywhere outside the menu.
Resize a window back to desktop width and the slide-in menu is replaced by the fixed icon rail again — there's no setting to remember, it simply follows the size of your screen.
