Clients
Keep a directory of the clients you work with — name, notes, and the projects linked to each one.
Overview
Clients is a lightweight directory of the people and companies you work with. Each client is just a name and free-form notes, plus a read-only list of the projects linked to it. Clients are shared across your whole organization — there is no per-client membership.
Clients are shown as a grid of cards. Selecting a card opens a side panel where you can edit the name and notes inline and review every linked project.
Opening Clients
Navigate to Clients in the sidebar (the building icon, just below Projects). The page lists every client in your organization, newest first.
Browsing the grid
Each card summarizes one client:
| Element | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Avatar & name | A two-letter monogram and the client's name. |
| Client since | The month and year the client was added. |
| Notes | The first lines of the client's notes. |
| Projects | How many projects are linked to this client. |
The grid loads more cards automatically as you scroll toward the bottom.
Searching and sorting
Search. Type in the search box to filter by client name. Results update as you type.
Sort. Use the sort menu on the right to order by Most recent, Name (A–Z), or # of projects.
Creating a client
Select New client (available to organization owners and admins). A panel opens where you enter the name and optional notes.
Name the client. The name is required.
Add notes. Notes are optional and can be changed later.
Create. The new client opens immediately so you can review it.
Editing a client
Open any client card to view its details. If you are an organization owner or admin, the name and notes edit in place — click the field, type, then press Enter (or click away) to save. Press Esc to cancel. Changes save instantly.
Renaming a client also updates the client label shown on every linked project, so the link is always in sync.
Linked projects
The Linked projects section lists every project tied to this client, with its status, a short reference, and the date it was created. The list is read-only here — projects are managed from the Projects screen.
A project links to a client when you pick it in the project's Client field on the Projects screen. The project then appears here.
Deleting a client
Open the ⋯ menu in the client panel header and choose Delete client. After a confirmation prompt, the client is permanently removed. Linked projects are not deleted — they simply lose their client (the project's Client field is cleared).
